~ Undersea, Underfoot…
Patricia Watkins has been taking pictures of her Michigan family, life, and the natural world since she got her first Kodak Instamatic camera at age 14. Although Pati has lived in Prescott just 14 years, she immediatelydiscovered the natural wonders of this beautiful region while hiking
in the Dells, along the Peavine Trail and in Granite Mountain Wilderness, Mingus Mountain, and the Prescott National Forest. The Highland Center for Natural History’s Annual Fall Hike Spree has provided an untold wealth of new and undiscovered trails ripe for her photographer’s lens.
Landscapes, mountains, sunsets, heron, pinyon pines: all have made it onto gallery walls and in card racks around Prescott, showcasing the extraordinary beauty that is Pure Prescott.
