Quinn Honanie

Quinn Honanie a enrolled member of the Hopi tribe is a award winning artist based out of Tuba City, Arizona. In 2016, while ironworking in North Dakota, Quinn became ill, which led to being induced into a coma. Some weeks later, upon awakening, Quinn had to begin his rehabilitation. The process of re-developing all significant fine motor skills, such as walking, talking, and the ability to read again, fueled Quinn’s decision to follow his dreams of becoming an artist. Quinn’s expression of emotions and elements of nature can be seen in his artwork. His drawings include the use of ballpoint pen, pastel, markers, and graphite pencil, which depicts his traditional culture in today’s time. Quinn has won various awards for becoming a full-time artist within the first few years (2021-2023), including 1st Place and Best of Category at this year’s 2025 Heard Museum Indian Art Show. Quinn hopes his drawings will give us a more profound appreciation of nature and ourselves.
