The ‘Tis Art Center & Gallery:
Two contemporary art galleries inside the beautifully restored 1893 Knights of Pythias Building.

Showcasing art by Prescott area artists, the ‘Tis Art Center and Gallery is conveniently located across from Prescott’s Courthouse Plaza.

Unlike conventional art galleries, the ‘Tis galleries feature affordable fine art paintings, photography, and sculpture, all displayed in museum-style fashion. Inside the Main Gallery, you will find some of the state’s most beautiful handcrafted jewelry and wearable art.

Artist receptions occur on the 4th Friday of every month in conjunction with Prescott’s 4th Friday Art Walk and coincide with the opening of our new monthly show in the Main Gallery.

Patricia Watkins hasn’t stopped taking pictures since her mother gifted her a Kodak pocket camera for Christmas in Michigan at age 14.

An avid reader, hiker, and traveler, she shares the world’s beauty through a camera lens on Facebook and Instagram (@pwatkinsnew). {ati retired from librarianship at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott to indulge her true passion – photographing the beauty of Pure Prescott. Her photos have been shown locally for the past 18 years at the PCA Gallery (now the Artists Lounge), Mountain Artists Guild Gallery, ‘Tis Art Gallery, and at Prescott and Prescott Valley pop-up shows. Her photos have been published in the Sierra Club Newsletter, The Daily Courier, and The Boston Globe.

When she isn’t taking pictures or hiking the Prescott National Forest, she’s reading about the world’s history and visiting museums and galleries worldwide to see OPPs—other people’s photos.
